2017 Cervical Cancer Conference
The Department of Public Health and Social Services’ Guam Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program and the Guam Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, in collaboration with the Guam Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition, Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation, Guam Cancer Care, American Cancer Society, Guam Nurses Association (GNA), University of Guam, Guam Cancer Research Center, Marianas Physician Group, United Airlines, Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center and the Non-Communicable Disease Consortium is hosting the 2017 Cervical Cancer Conference on Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Pacific Star Resort & Spa.
The conference is open to all healthcare professionals and the public. Registration is free!
Topics such as the current cervical cancer data on Guam; cervical cancer screening guidelines; challenges of increasing cervical cancer screening on Guam; treatment and sexual health after cervical cancer will be discussed.
GNA has given an approval of five (5) contact hours for the conference. If you are seeking continuing education credits, the fee for non-GNA members is $25 ($5 per credit) while members are free. Payment can be made onsite. Please make check payable to the Guam Nurses Association.
