Community Health Assessment Meeting(CHA)

The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) will be meeting with community partners to identify priority health issues as a result of a community health assessment.   The meeting will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 9am at the Guam Westin Resort.  

The purpose of a community health be used by different agency programs, community partners, policy makers, and funding agencies to help create a healthier Guam.  

Our island faces a variety of health issues such as diabetes, obesity, high-blood pressure and many other diseases.  As a community, we will be able to determine our strengths to address health issues , the health conditions of our people, root causes of diseases, and what local resources are available.
assessment is to have one place where you can find health data and information about the Guamanian people.
