Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System

The Guam Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System conducts random telephone surveys that collect information on health risk behaviors, preventive health practices, and health care access primarily related to chronic disease and injury.  Data is used to analyze health trends; identify and address emerging health issues; plan and measure the progress of prevention initiatives; educate the public about risk behaviors and preventive health practices; develop policies and health-related legislative efforts, and provide data to provide additional funding, and to garner additional support.
