DPHSS NORTHERN HEALTH CENTER TO OPEN FOR TYPHOON CARE

DPHSS NORTHERN HEALTH CENTER TO OPEN FOR TYPHOON CARE

Beginning Sunday, May 17th, the Dept. of Public Health & Social Services (DPHSS) Northern Health Center in Dededo will open 24 hours to provide an immediate power source and support for people who require constant daily use of medical equipment in their homes.

This public health service is made possible only until island power is fully restored in people's homes requiring daily medical equipment use.  People who need daily use of oxygen equipment such as oxygen concentrators, CPAP, BIPAP, or nebulizers are encouraged to go to the Northern Health Center instead of the Guam Memorial Hospital for assistance.

Please bring your personal medical equipment, supplies and medications to the Northern Health Center.  For more clinical details, please call Barbara Besebes, RN at 635-7400 or 687-3263.   For administrative concerns, please call Linda DeNorcey at 988-6362.
