Temporary Suspension of Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Testing

The Department of Public Health and Social Services announces STD testing for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia is temporarily suspended by the STD/HIV Program until further notice. Individuals with Medicaid or MIP are encouraged to access STD testing by making an appointment at the Northern or Southern Regional Community Health Centers. For clients without insurance, a sliding scale fee is available at either Community Health Center. Individuals with private insurance are encouraged to contact their doctor.

HIV and syphilis testing is available at the STD/HIV Program located in the first floor of Central Public Health in Mangilao, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Room 156 (1st floor).

In addition, WestCare Pacific Islands/GUAHAN Project and Guam’s Alternative Lifestyle Association (GALA) provides free HIV rapid tests (HIV test results available in 20 minutes) at the following locations:
